Allegheny's strong pitching performance in game two was started by Justin Abbott, who allowed just four hits and two runs over the first 3.1 innings, before giving way to James Fago who gave up just two hits the rest of the way to get the win in relief.

After three scoreless innings, Allegheny tallied an unearned run in the fourth that Mount Union got back and another one on a two-run RBI single from Ty Wood (Hudson/Hudson) in the bottom half of the fourth.

Allegheny then busted the game open with a four-run fifth inning then held on for the 5-2 win.
